It’s like the pic that would go on airplanes or B-52s for the boys remember what they’re fighting for!! Slapped right over Betty Grable or whoever it was back in the day!!! It’s *that* kind of pic!! I think it’s one of the earliest ones I had seen, and got me into all sorts of trouble!! Men who barely rock the edges of life get into all sorts of trouble over you!! And you only!! You’re that kind of woman!! And here you are, wearing it again!! And I swear you look even more beautiful today than you did back then!! Your eyes are positively glimmering!!! But you’re lighting up everything, like those maps with all those little light dots in old movies!! I guess it emanates in SF, and before you know it, Boston is lighting bright!!! And New York City!! And Philly!! And all over Delaware and New Jersey!!! Everyone wanting to claim you as somehow brightening some part of their lives!!! It’s simply *impossible* anyone is so beautiful like that. But, there you are. You’ve done it again! When you go away and come back, it’s like, “missed me??” with a wink, and you explode even brighter!!! God, you’re the most staggeringly magnificent beauty who has ever been!! Makes a guy drop his smoothie (it’s okay, I wasn’t drinking it, anyway!). Your lips!! Your nose!!! The shape of your face!! The way your reddish hair drapes just past the nape of your neck, and revealing all this smoothness, like a pond made of porcelain! If I could paint, there’d be canvases upon canvases stacked in a room!! All attempts to capture this heart-stopping beauty that is you. I guess Leo was on to something in Titanic!! Oh, if you knew what you do. I wasn’t watching as much, and I hear the pleasant sound of voices, and I was *way* in the back of the house and I heard that voice of yours and ran back into the room!!! Look, I’m usually ahead of the curve of some things in life, I noticed. So, you can bet if they’re not doing it already, a million and two others are all going to catch onto you!! I read some article in WSJ yesterday about prenups, and why millennials are doing them! Something about the tinder age we’re in, and how there’s this knowledge a woman can ‘trade up’ so easily! Romantic, right? (that one was from some guy in the comments!) But it got me thinking of how it was so right that my dream has been only to know you in some way!! Maybe someday, maybe never! I don’t know! But, yeah, it would be too grueling for even a man with the highest self-esteem! Maybe a friend who simply adores you, and who will see you through anything without expecting a thing – ever! – maybe that’s the way to be, after all! Because when seeing you like this, in a black and purple dress (or is it blue? no matter!) it’s that knowledge here is someone who will always be pursued! Better to be an admiring friend! And maybe if I can stretch out my life to reach 100, a backdoor will open up when you’re 82 or 83!! Believe me, it would be just as thrilling for me!! … okay, I’ll pull it back!! Ah!!! But, look at you!! Men would simply give you the shirts off their backs, and everything they’ve got, just for the utter thrill of doing so, and never expect anything back. There’s just no one to compare to you!! Believe me, I’ve looked!! Anyway, I’m cooling it off with the daddy thing (it’s only texting, I promise!), and just get back to that ‘live your life as if she’s already in it’ even though, of course, I know that probably will never be! But, at least it gets me living more honest, and certainly saving a lot of money. ps – I’m in for the long haul with crypto and real estate, but had the joy of putting some away in that holdings I playfully call by your name.
