What a fantastic day to start over! To take over the reins! A dismantling and restructuring! But the best part is, you can build on what you save! The very best parts! You prayed for it. And here it is! There’s something new just aching to burst through! You’ve got it. You’re worth so much more than any thought that enters your head. Better get used to knowing that! You can say it! Right now! Starting today! I’m gonna start my whole life over, and *keep the parts that are good!* Say it out loud if you feel you need to! And you’ll feel this utter release! Doesn’t it feel good to be new! The one thing holding you back can finally be let go! Hey, what’s with all the exclamation points! Ah!! I don’t know!! But I *do* know, there’s something in you that’s bursting to come through. And saying *today’s* the day I’m starting new allows the stuff in your brains to clear the decks! Because there’s *got* to be something you’ve been aching to do. You think about it, you talk about it, but it’s always a day removed. Get to it! You feel that lift, because it’s what your soul wants to do. Everybody’s got that *one* thing, like a chain around your ankle. The rest of you is free, so use your other limbs to unlock it. And tune out the good and the bad that’s coming from outside – at least for a day or two – so you don’t allow any external influences to affect you. God forbid you fall back into an old routine that isn’t working. All because of some perceived event that is half imagined and definitely passing! Stay true to you. And the rest will follow suit. Say I Love You to the guy on the skateboard that’s annoying you, making noise outside your window! Except not too loudly, unless you’ve got some plan of your own! Say, “Ah! When the Man on the Skateboard arrives on my street, it’s a premonition great things are on the way, for me!!” And you immediately feel happy! You can use that with anything, and turn it around completely! Let go of what’s not serving you, but keep the stuff that is good in your life! Maybe the most spectacular woman who has ever existed liked your words!! Keep that! That’s as good as it gets!! Maybe you quit drinking years ago! Maybe you’re one week vegetarian! I don’t know! Who knows what it is! Maybe you picked up a few awards, but you feel it doesn’t count – because it was so long ago! It counts! All of it! Whatever it is that means something to *you!* You get to keep it all! You graduated from school? Great! That comes with you! You didn’t? If you don’t care, it’s not important! If it matters, that can be the part of the new! But you’re starting over today! June 22nd!! Or whatever the day happens to be! If you read this some other time, ask Alexa, and she’ll tell you which day it is! And probably ask if you want to buy bird seed! “Would you like me to add it to your cart?” “No, thanks! I’m covered!” Today’s the day you’re starting over again! Unlike a complete rock bottom, this time is so much better! Because you’re shedding the old, and keeping what’s good. You’re not at ground zero – you’re on the third or fourth stair! But you’re kicking off your heavy boots! And trotting the rest as light as air! No more thoughts that restrain you. It’s like the first minute of a movie when you meet a character. She could be any age at all, in any position, but she’s new to you! That’s how *you* are! Today! Your movie is just getting started! Hold to those things that have so inspired you! Take them with you! And take a deep breath! Close your eyes! And feel that joy of letting it out! Guess what? You just meditated! It’s as simple as that! It really is! Just do it a moment or two longer, and then, wow, you’ll *really* feel it. It’s all that clearing the air! The fog of your mind dissipates to reveal a heart that is pure. Now *that* part you want to follow! The feeling deep inside you that isn’t on a constant merry-go-round dealing with thoughts you allow to enter. It’s a beautiful way to end whatever addictions. When I quit drinking a few years ago, it took me prayer. I got down on my knees, and God simply took it away. Poof! Simple as that. It was a miracle, I never doubt it. But some others can be a little easier than we make it out to be! Stand up today, and say, That’s it! I’m free! Today I’m starting over! And I get to keep all the best parts!! I’m starting a few floors up, and not back down in the foyer! June 22 is a great day to start anew!! It’s kind of a romantic number! It’s got a couple of twos in it, and two more if you count in 2020! But whatever the day it happens to be when you’re reading will do! Think out loud all the *good* things you’ve done or had happen to you. Those things that matter to you. You’re keeping them all, by the way (Yay!!). But your motion picture begins right now! It’s so wonderful to feel inspired. I’ve got news for you, that’s *exactly* what you do! You’re the most beautiful person who has ever been. When I feel a part of me slipping, you’re the someone who reels it back in again! Simply the thought of you has that effect on anyone! Whatever it is that’s good that I’ve become, it’s been this process of starting new, over and over again. In steps like these, when to another it might look kinda smooth! Everyone needs a muse. That nourishing sun that lets the flower grow. And blossom into all it was meant to become. To be fully realized. It could be anything for you! Whatever your dream, just be sure you have one. Little or big, it doesn’t matter in the end. Just keep growing! You’re so sensational. What’s easy for you comes hard to another. What you don’t even count as gifts in yourself leave me speechless and untethered. You move mountains with your fingers. You’re someone who is treasured. No matter how big you get, or how farther along you are, sometimes it can feel a release to say, I’m starting new today. And carry along all that’s good that you’ve gotten. In your case, it would require a sleigh! And you feel that burstiness!! (*not* bustiness! No thanks, auto correct!! That got me in trouble the last post out!) That weight lifting off you! You’re new and you’re shining, when this morning it was just another day. It’s a fitting way to go about it, because you’re always new to me. It *never* gets old. Your feeling I can’t capture. I dance around it, I float a bit under. I’m staggered by it! I’m rendered speechless by its power! It’s like trying to harness the sun’s power with a magnifying glass. One is so much more powerful than the other. But with it, it starts a fire! (Don’t try this at home, kids!) The pure majesty of you makes its way through. And another’s life is reborn. You’re giving when you know it, and you’re giving when you don’t. You’re loved beyond words. And whatever you’re going through, it’s going to be okay. You’re always regenerating. I thank you so deeply for saving my life. I honestly didn’t think anyone so beautiful as you existed. And the memory of your smile is the very *first* thing I’m taking with me from the pile! Of all the good that happens in a life. Today I’m starting new, and yet I’m held in arms of angels. I get to keep all that sunlight, and bring it with me going forward. People are so proud of you. You’re loved beyond expression. You’re someone magical, as if you live in some other dimension. Somewhere higher, somewhere better. That’s how it feels. All the time. Every time you’re seen, or even thought of. It’s that *lifting* when so much brings us down. You’re this burst of sunshine! That elevates, you intoxicate! Here comes this feeling where my chest opens up, and here’s this lightness, this warmth, this kind of heavenly endorphin that soothes and reminds it’s all going to be just fine. Who do you know who can do that? Well, that’s *you*. All the time. This glorious lemon sunshine. It’s such a wonderful day to start new. And feel it, too! You’re the diamond of all diamonds. Your beauty is all over the place! It’s in your face, and it’s inside you. It’s the energy of you, so invigorating and inviting! How could you expect people not to fall in love with you? But if they do, and it’s real, the result is you make them better people. Someone more worthy to be adored. And they’re not missing anything! Because you’re in their hearts where they carry you. Where *everything* feels so new! How could it not! Today I’m starting anew. And I get to keep all that’s good that came before! Nobody comes before you. You’re the god, you’re the goddess. You’re the empress. It’s inextricable from who you are at your core. And you shine a light on others. That lets them grow. You have such incredible power. In your heart, you know it, too. What could there possibly be to feel bad about today? Not up here, anyway. On this higher plane where you take others. Where all there is, is love. It’s who you are. I knew it when I saw you. And so do so *many* others. You’re someone so greatly adored. ❤️
