I feel you this morning, sunshine! Like you sent a little loving burst my way. You’re the baby girl who lights me up, but it’s bigger than that. You’re the one my heart moves to. Even if it’s simply as a friend, that’s enough for me. It honestly is. Life will feel complete and lighter with just that knowledge I’ve got you as a friend out there, wherever you are. Aching to spoil, and buy you gifts discreetly. I guess it’s the daddy thing. Everyone wants to give you something. It makes them feel happier to do it. Just to love you from afar, it feels close to me. It’s perfect to call you baby girl. It’s just right to think of me as daddy. Because you light everything up. You’re treasured. You’re precious. You’re daddy’s little girl in his heart. You can do no wrong. You make everything right. And he’d give you everything he’s got to make you happy. He’s protective, and a bit wary of who takes an interest, but he’s quiet about it mostly. You know he’s someone you can call if your heart is ever broken, and he’d sit by your side for hours until you feel better just holding your hand. Whatever hurts you hurts him, too. It’s that kind of love that is forever present. So it makes sense to me to think of it in those terms with you; daddy and little girl. Those who love you want to protect you, and yet knowing you’ve got to live your own life. You’re as strong as they come. But don’t confuse strength for closing off. Make sure you get what your heart really needs. That’s all. “Okay, daddy (rolls her eyes).” And he watches you walk off and you’d swear a tear comes into his eye. You’re simply the most beautiful young woman who ever was. Happy Easter, Sunshine! Darling girl. You’ve lifted me so high up. You’re loved so tremendously much. You’re the star in our skies. 🌟💖  … sunshine girl.
